Just over a year ago we had a visit from the Care Inspectorate, which we told you about here.  While the report was generally very positive, our overall scores were down on the previous inspection in 2016, so we were a little disappointed.

Earlier this month we had another unannounced visit, and have now received the draft report which you can read here.

To say we are delighted would be an understatement, scoring 5 (out of a maximum 6) across all 4 categories (which you might remember from the parent’s surveys).  Emma and the staff have done an incredible job over the last 12 months, not just looking after our children, but putting in place all of the recommendations from the last report, and achieving a score even better than the one from 2016!

We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated and committed team and would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their hard work over the last year.  I know they are just as pleased with the report as we are, but also know they will be striving to maintain and even improve on these scores the next time the Care Inspectorate pay us a surprise visit…
